Renata Klein, life coach? Maybe.
In a latest interview, Laura Dern spoke about her character’s iconic line from season two of HBO’s Large Little Lies—”I can’t not be wealthy,” and its potential affect on girls.
“I hope each girl claims that,” the 54-year-old Oscar-winning actress stated on Wednesday, April 14, in the course of the distant Vanity Fair Cocktail Hour Dwell! chat with the journal’s editor-in-chief, Radhika Jones, in keeping with Page Six.
“I had no concept that it might resonate in the best way it does and if it was any line that I’ve ever stated that would resonate, I am thrilled that it is that, as a result of it is clearly multi-layered and it isn’t solely about finance,” Dern continued. “However how great that ladies are speaking about cash.”
As a result of the best way she sees it, Dern shared, “There’s extra disgrace speaking about cash than there’s about intercourse.”
The actress herself was by no means taught to managing her funds. “I am unable to imagine no person ever talked about cash to me, ever,” she stated. “No person talked about it. Must you get a checking account? How do you save? Who do you discuss to about it?”
